Snaggle Tooth Doodle Bug!

On Thursday, our little Doodle Bug came home from school and showed me this.
Me: "So, Emma-Caroline, that tooth is looking like it is about to come out soon.
Let me get a closer look at it."
Yank!

And here it is!

Now we have a Snaggle Tooth Doodle Bug in The Avery House! The Tooth Fairy is on her way!

Oh, Amy - that made me cry. I can't believe our little doodle bug is growing up. I remember when you lost your first tooth, and you became a member of the "tooth club" (I think that's what it was called). You were so excited. It seems like that first lost tooth marks the end of being a "Little Girl".

Congratulations, Emma-Caroline, you're a "BIG GIRL" now!!!

I love you .... Nana

Oh that makes me feel like where did the time go. I can't believe Emma-Caroline is getting that mature. Time sure flys. I know Emma-Caroline is excited about the Tooth Fairy that may visit her soon. That is cute!!!
Congratulations Emma-Caroline for the next stage of life, baby teeth to permanent teeth. Awesome!!! Although a bit bitter/sweet that we all face change through the years..., enjoy the good times, the years fly too fast.

Now, for the Rest of the Story. Yes, I did yank that tooth, but it was hard (emotionally). When I saw it hanging there in her mouth, I knew it had to come out. I guess that moment was probably like the Momma Bird who has to push her baby bird out of the nest. I was excited for her, and also a little teary beacause, yes, she is growing into a big girl now. But with that, she will bring new joys and adventures with every stage.
