The Met (Part V)

This will be my final post about the magnificent Met. One of my most favorite collections to see at the Met were the ballerina art pieces done by Degas. The sketches, full oils and statuary combined seemed to tell a story of the artist like no other works did in the museum. Seeing raw sketches, and then the complete works made Degas come to life. The following photos again do not do justice to the real thing, but I want to still share them. It was a wonderful way to end my tour of the beautiful Metropolitan Museum of Art.
