Christmas Eve at our Church. The night was beautiful and I feel my greatest gift that I received for Christmas was the joy brought to me by directing and watching these beautiful children below.
After church services we had a Christmas Eve dinner and made cookies. The girls really got into decorating their cookies for Santa!
And eating some cookies too!
One of our favorite traditions of Christmas Eve is reading "The Night Before Christmas."
This was Macy's first Christmas as an Avery dog. She cuddled up to Nana on Christmas Eve.
Santa loves setting up a nice display of gifts. We had a surprise visit from a not so sleepy Emma-Caroline and quickly told her that Santa's elves were busy getting the gifts set up. Whew!
The girls woke us up at 5:30 and we made them wait in our room until we could summon all the troops in the house for Christmas morning.
The girls and their bedroom door stockings. We have three sets of stockings throughout the house!
Happy faces to see what Santa brought.
A computer for Emma-Caroline and Barbie Dream House for Sophie.
Sophie was proving to her daddy that she is taller than the Dream House. Only by a bow!
Finding what was left in the candy stockings.
Christmas morning brunch table setting with my 1938 Spode collection. We used my other set of Christmas dishes from Williams Sonoma given by G-Daddy and Mimi for Christmas dinner.
Excited to get an Easy Bake Oven!
Opening gifts for everyone!
Painting of the Tennessee Theater by Mike Berry
We all got Keurig Machines this year!
Sophie and Emma-Caroline shopped the house and wrapped up gifts for each other. Here's Sophie's gift from Emma-Caroline.
Barbie was a big item this year!
And we all love Clue!
Lucy at almost 17 still likes to open her own gifts.
Macy was a little worn out with all the festivities.
At the end of the day, we were all happy and tired and needed a long winter's nap!
