2010 went out in grand style here at the Avery House.
It all started out pretty tame with our friends the Taylors and the Harmons joining us for a stellar evening of fun. 
But then Scott busted out the karaoke machine and lets just say, the good times, they did roll! 
We all took a turn at belting out a tune or two, including the little friends of the party. I now have karaoke machine on my wish list for things of desire in the new year. With a few tunes under our belt, the Averys, Harmons, and Taylors are now ready to go on tour. I doubt if we'll sell any tickets to our shows, but hey, at least we'll have a good time doing it.
We toasted in the New Year and we are certain 2011 will bring many good times, especially if karaoke is involved.

How wonderful to have friends and family in your own home to "ring out the old and ring in the new", or as you all did, "sing out the old and sing in the new". It looks like you all had a wonderful time last night! Happy New Year 2011 to all of you!
My wish for this year is that there be peace throughout the world, and this must be the wish we all have. I guess, if we all start with our own hearts, maybe it will spread. And then perhaps, it will come true.
