The Met (Part II)

One of the areas that I most wanted to see while we were at the Met was the Egyptian collection. I have a sick obsession with ancient Egypt and I am fascinated by all of the tombs, treasures, mummies, pyramids, etc. I mean these people lived thousands of years ago and had the most amazing civilization. The thing that impressed me the most about seeing these actual Egyptian artifacts in person is the volume of things like the mummy's and everyday items that have survived and are on display. Fascinating, really! Here is a small smidgen of the Egyptian collection.
