Since having children, the Fantasy of Trees has become a tradition for the Avery House. It occurs during the Thanksgiving holiday to raise money for our local Children's Hospital. It is an event that we all look forward to each year. This year we ventured to the Fantasy of Trees with our friends, the Taylors.
You would think we were going to take all these kiddos to the doctor for shots by the look on their faces in this pic. Davis is cracking me up! But when we got inside the Convention center, the kids perked up and we . . .
rode the carousel,
built towers,
colored holiday pictures,
waited in line for the spinner cups,
smiled big for the fun about to be had,
spun ourselves silly,
chatted it up,
admired the beauty of the trees,
put a few items on our wish list,
enjoyed a peaceful momemt,
and got our faces painted by friends who looked the age of our children, but were very talented artists! Just take a look at the proof below.
We had a wonderful evening and definitely felt in the Christmas mood after we left. Happy holidays everyone!

That is so special. I know you all had a great time and it really gets one in the spirit of Christmas, even looking at it from my view point on the computer. Thanks, and
Love,
