Yes, I know, the title of this blog post is a 1967 song by Sonny and Cher, but as the crews continue to hammer and drill on The Avery House, somehow that little tune just keeps playing in my head in rhythm to the "beats" of the Construction Worker Band outside my window. Since coming home from Disney, more progress on our house has steadily taken place. Here are some pics of the latest accomplishments!

They started painting the house this week. Here is a look with the tinted primer. The actual color is slightly darker and is called Davenport Tan by Benjamin Moore.
The sod is also being installed finally!

The pictures of your home are really beautiful and everything is taking shape so nicely. I think you closet is spectacular, that space is much needed with a growing family, you could almost use it for an inside jogging track too.
Can't wait to visit sometime soon in the near future when all is finished and you all are settled in again.

Love the flagstone apron and, agreed, the closet is fab. Room for shoes and then some! What a lovely space for your family. The house I mean, not the closet. Although . . . in times of panic . . .
