Just before leaving for Puerto Rico, Emma-Caroline lost her first top front tooth. For months, Emma-Caroline has been working on that tooth. Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle . . . She even had a weekly visit to Mrs. Hughes' classroom (she is an expert tooth puller) to see if that stubborn little tooth could be yanked free. We had night after night of "trying" to pull it out, but it was not willing to leave it's home of the past 6 years. Finally, on the night before we left for Puerto Rico, the tooth finally came out! Funny thing about Emma-Caroline's teeth, they never bleed after being pulled. I always had gushes of blood and had to keep tissue in my mouth for hours. Emma-Caroline's teeth have come out clean every time. Maybe it's all the pre wiggling she does that guarantees a clean tooth when pulled. She's already working on the next loose tooth. Got to keep those tooth fairy payments coming!
