You know, we all have been given some pretty amazing gifts. No one person's gifts are more special than another person's. They are all perfect, they are all just right, they are all exactly what God wants us to have. God is a pretty awesome guy, isn't he? While I was at Kanuga, I was surrounded by physical and spiritual beauty all around me, from the mountains, to the lake, to the wild life, and flowers. It was all breathtaking and inspirational. Each of these beauties is unique in its own right.
Not one of these natural treasures outshines the other. The daisy doesn't say to the lake, "Hey, don't you wish you had beautiful petals just like me?" Nor does the mountain say to the bluebird, "Don't you wish you were as grand and majestic as me?"
No, each stands alone in it's own beauty but coexists, one complimenting the other, to make up the whole that is the beauty of creation.
The same is true of humanity. We are all unique, we are all beautiful, we all have our own special gifts. When we allow ourselves to be uniquely beautiful as well as to recognize and to appreciate what is beautiful in others, and when we are able to use our gifts to compliment the gifts of others, we participate in the true beauty that is God's creation.
And so I encourage you, embrace your true beauty and gifts that God has given you and go and bloom where you are planted!

So very, very true. Kanuga was good for you, except for Mr. Long Legs. He is never good for anyone. Can't wait to catch up when I return from my travels!
If we as humans would always look at each other in this way, there would never be war, and the world would be at peace. Thank you for your beautiful words and your beautiful pictures!
