Leaves
by Elsie Brady
How silently they tumble down
And come to rest upon the ground
To lay a carpet, rich and rare,
Beneath the trees without a care,
Content to sleep, their work well done,
Colors gleaming in the sun.
And come to rest upon the ground
To lay a carpet, rich and rare,
Beneath the trees without a care,
Content to sleep, their work well done,
Colors gleaming in the sun.
At other times, they wildly fly
Until they nearly reach the sky.
Twisting, turning through the air
Till all the trees stand stark and bare.
Exhausted, drop to earth below
To wait, like children, for the snow.
Until they nearly reach the sky.
Twisting, turning through the air
Till all the trees stand stark and bare.
Exhausted, drop to earth below
To wait, like children, for the snow.

Fall is my favorite time of the year. The girls look so sweet in their dresses. Amy you are such a great mom!!! I am so proud of You and Howie for making your family such a special family and sharing your life with us.
Thanks again for all the pictures and thoughts and insights into what is happening with the Avery's.
Love always,
Aunt Brenda
