Thirteen!

We have a teenager in the house! Emma-Caroline turned thirteen on perhaps one of the most blustery, strangely weather days that I can remember. Our house shook as if we were in the Wizard of Oz! The power went our for 48 hours and trees were downed all over Central Virginia. That did not stop us from celebrating Emma-Caroline becoming a teenager. We took to the road to head into town for a day of shopping and fun. Emma-Caroline remarked that it was the BEST birthday she had ever had, so hurray! Happy birthday to our beautiful daughter! May your teenage years be filled with joy.
