Our family has been traveling to a South Carolina beach for eight years and counting. I love the feel of being in South Carolina. It feels nostalgic to me with it's low buildings, oak trees dripping in Spanish moss and low country cuisine. Five of the eight years we've traveled to South Carolina have been to Hilton Head Island. I told Howie when we first started taking the girls to the beach that I wanted to take them to a place where they would build memories not only going to the beach, but also to restaurants and other locales that we visit year after year. This year's visit has added to our cherished memories of HHI. I look forward to going again next year.

A Trip to Savannah
Each year as a family we travel to Hilton Head Island to got to the beach for a week. Since moving to Virginia, we have broken up the trip down by visiting another city. This year we made a stop in Savannah, Georgia. I have always wanted to visit Savannah to view it's beautiful parks and old homes. It was everything I dreamed it would be and more. Walking down streets lined with old oaks dripping with Spanish moss and looking at 300 year old homes and buildings was a dream come true for me, despite the Memphis like humidity that only a sister river city can produce. We had a wonderful time exploring the city of Savannah and I will definitely go back!
